Check this out. It may be over 40 minutes long, however, he has great workout advice no matter what sport you are in
Here they are. Check them out. Gotta love it.
It is rumored that Dumbarton Gym is temporarily closing for a year starting in the spring because the school is beginning their large renovation project. If anyone has any ideas for a place where Olympic Lifters from the Towson vicinity can lift together, like we do now, let me know. I'm looking for places in the Parkville, Perry Hall, Towson areas
Balance is the key to lifting. You are probably saying that is very simple. It is. For example, if you are on your toes anywhere in the lift off the floor, you most likely will loose the weight in front. If you are on your heals, you will swing the bar just past the power position and either throw the bar behind you or drop it in front because you couldn't hold the weight because it is moving to fast for you to control.
When you are in balance with the bar, you can lift it with ease.
