As a Personal Coach and Consultant, I have definite ideas concerning an athlete's approach to training and weightlifting. Training for off-season or training for an Olympic weightlifting contest, I can help! Each one hour session is packed full of instruction and motivation to keep you moving forward toward your goals. If you are a beginner, I will go over the fundamentals of the technique which is taught by the USAW. If you are more advanced, we can go over the finer points of your technique or routine so that you can maximize your performance. This page is presented to provide and show my own training advice and fitness tips. Some of my own lifts are on YouTube. You can see for yourself the techniques I use in my own training and competition.

I am the catalyst to help you grow in your sport or life in general. Everybody comes to me with different agendas and I work with you to find what you are looking for and to help change your experience. I have worked with non-athletes as young as 13 and as old as 80. I have coached athletes to a gold medal performance at local and national competitions. Regardless of your skill level, there will be improvement in your strength, speed, balance and agility.

My lifting accomplishments:


Competitions:
Competed in 126 contests since 1979 when I began at the age of 15

Gold Medalist:
Gold medal in 58 contests and 26 of them I was the Best Lifter, which means I was the best lifter at the meet pound for pound.

Local:
I have been the top lifter and record holder in the Maryland contests

National:
I have 6 national masters titles 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010 and have held or currently hold national records

International:
I have one Master's Pan American title. Won in 2004 at the age of 40 and was named "Best Lifter"...this meet was the greatest accomplishment in my lifting career

Best Lifts:
My Best lifts were in 1998 when I snatched 117.5 kgs and clean and jerked 160 kgs in the 94 kg class
